I’m Lillian Snider, a graduate researcher at Tarleton State University, pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Psychology.
My research focuses on identity development in postsecondary education and the psychological and social processes that shape how students construct and negotiate their sense of self as they navigate academic experiences. I am interested in examining how factors like course modality, institutional structures, and peer and faculty interactions influence students’ identity trajectories and academic persistence. Through a mix of quantitative and qualitative methods, I aim to generate insights that can inform evidence‑based practices and policies to support student success across diverse educational contexts.
